Are you ready for the 2023 Canaan Mountain Bike Festival? This year’s festival will take place from June 15th through June 18th and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. With activities ranging from trial rides, live music, men’s and women’s clinics, group rides, scavenger hunts, and more, this is sure to be a weekend full of fun and adventure. Plus, the proceeds of the event will go towards supporting the Blackwater Bicycle Association (IMBA club), which advocates for mountain biking in and around Tucker County, West Virginia.
What’s Included?
At this year’s Canaan Mountain Bike Festival, you can expect all sorts of activities for all levels of riders. Professional instructors will run men’s and women’s clinics where attendees can hone their skills in a supportive environment. For more experienced riders who are looking to test their limits on some fun terrain, there are group rides with local volunteers who can help you tackle some of the most exciting trails in the region. And if you just want to take it easy and explore your surroundings at a leisurely pace, no problem! There are also plenty of beginner-friendly groups rides available too.
The festival also offers plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and create lasting memories with old friends or new ones alike. Whether it’s joining a group ride or participating in one of our scavenger hunts, there are many ways to get involved and have a great time. Plus, there will be live music throughout the weekend so that everyone can show off their dance moves after an exhilarating day on the trails!
Making a Difference
At its core, this festival is not only about having a great time but making a positive impact as well. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting Blackwater Bicycle Association (the local IMBA Club). Our mission is to advocate for mountain biking in and around Tucker County, West Virginia – an area known for its vast array of scenic trails – by maintaining existing trails as well as creating new ones that are safe for cyclists of all ages and abilities. By attending this event you’re helping ensure that our local trails remain accessible for years to come!
